Our workforce is made up of various fabrication specialists including joiners and shipwrights. We are able produce bespoke fabrications including custom composite fabrications for wet working areas within commercial vessels all to the customer’s specifications. Our experienced tradesmen are capable of assessing hull conditions and providing cost-effective solutions as well as repairing damaged wooden, steel or aluminium hulls to industry standards.

Non-destructive Testing
Alexander Noble & Sons can arrange non-destructive testing (NDT) services such as sonic testing for steel boat hulls.
Non-destructive Testing or Shearography is widely used in the marine industry to detect flaws and structure weaknesses during a vessel’s construction. However, NDT also forms an important part of regular inspection of in-service sea-going vessels to detect signs of corrosion and other flaws.
